Taylor Kinney and Jesse Spencer are ready to bring the heat on NBC's new firefighter drama Chicago Fire!

Premiering Wednesday, Chicago Fire follows the firefighters, rescue squad and paramedics of Chicago's firehouse 51, including Kinney (as Lt. Kelly Severide) and Spencer (as Lt. Matthew Casey). As the group struggles to move forward after the tragic death of one of their own, tempers flare, leading Severide and Casey to butt heads -- big time.

"You handle your firefighters, I'll handle mine," snaps Spencer's Casey in this emotionally-charged sneak peek scene. "I'm getting real tired of your bull--t."

Fumes a shirtless Kinney as Severide: "I don't give a damn what you're tired of!"

Executive produced by Law & Order's Dick Wolf, Chicago Fire may document wild fires and other medical dramas, but for Kinney, the most exciting part of the procedural is the characters' intertwined subplots.

"The sense of camaraderie and brotherhood among these people is really special. It's not so singular where you follow two characters and they never interact with two other characters; it's all one big collaborative effort," Lady Gaga's beau Kinney, who costars on the series with Charlie Barnett, Monica Raymund, Lauren German, Eamonn Walker, David Eigenberg and Teri Reeves, told reporters during a pre-premiere conference call.

Agrees House alum Spencer: "They're working together doing the jobs they were born to do and that always overrides anything going on with them personally. It's a big, messy, ugly family but once the s--t hits the fan, they'll throw themselves under a bus for each other."
