Taylor Kinney started his Hollywood career on the 2006 soap opera Fashion House. He joined the cast of Trauma in 2009 and held a recurring role as Mason Lockwood on season 2 of The Vampire Diaries in 2010. Kinney landed a starring role on Chicago Fire as Lieutenant Kelly Severide, guest starred on Shameless as Craig and appeared on the big screen in Zero Dark Thirty.

The actor appeared in Lady Gaga’s music video for “You and I” in 2011 as her love interest, and the pair started dating soon after. The former couple became engaged in February 2015 but called it quits in July 2016. Kinney started dating model Ashley Cruger in 2022, tying the knot two years later.
