Exclusive: Jersey Shore's Snooki Is Getting a Spinoff!

Despite talk of a Jersey Shore spinoff focusing on Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, 22, and Jenni “JWoww” Farley, 25, a source tells the new Us Weekly (on newsstands now) that MTV prefers just the Princess of Poughkeepsie.

“Execs think a show focusing on Snooki will be a bigger hit, so they pushed JWoww out," the insider tells Us.
Says an MTV rep, “We can’t confirm any new Jersey Shore–related programming at this time.”

In the meantime, Snooki has other projects in the works.

She's writing a book - tentatively titled A Shore Thing - hitting shelves in January. She promises that it "will have you falling in love at the shore."
The self-described "guidette" also is working on hair products. She currently commands $20,000 to walk an event’s red carpet, Us Weekly recently reported.

I'm sure the majority of you watch Jersey Shore & enjoy it, what's the difference really? You're saying why dont they pay these people who lost their jobs. However, being a celebrity IS her job, so it would be like taking away her job so she goes on the streets so other people who are lazy would just live off of other peoples'source of income.
I've heard that some people are going as Snooki for Halloween. That shouldn't be too hard. All you need is an empty bottle of whisky, knee pads, a wig,some orange spray self-tanner, and you stumble around on the streets going from door to door , and when someone answers the door to give you candy, you say in the drunkest slur you can... How the hell are ya!! GIMMEE some freakin candy fool!!!!!!
The accidental celebrity. Before you know it all the dumb asses of America will occupy all of our television air time. I say we all go on strike, refuse to watch anything other than the news and the weather stations until they stop subjecting us to anymore of these crap reality shows. With the mega amounts of money earn, you'd think they would deliver quality entertainment. It would probably do many of us to pick up a book and read for entertainment, or for some, learn to read.

Gotta agree with Gina. Sure, they are annoying at times and cringworthy at others. But at the end of the day, I can't hate on anyone trying to do something to make better of their situation. Good for her and all of those kids for taking advantage of the opportunity
