Production on Glee's big post-Super Bowl episode was halted Friday after several members of the Fox show's cast came down with tonsillitis.

Entertainment Weekly reports the cast was in the process of shooting a large musical number on location for the Feb. 6 episode when production was canceled due to the viral outbreak.

While the identities of the sick cast members have not been revealed, actress Dianna Agron posted a telling message on her Tumblr blog Friday.

"Note to self...should have gotten a flu shot. In bed, hoping that medicine, soup, my computer and a marathon of movies will be the cure," Agron, who plays cheerleader Quinn, wrote.

The show will resume production on Monday and the musical number planned for Friday will be reshot in January.
