This edition of the Emmy-nominated culinary challenge is stuffed with tension and fun tasks (create a gourmet hot dog!), set against the bustling Big Apple (and New Orleans in the finale). Padma Lakshmi still seems detached as the host, but favorites Tom Colicchio and Gail Simmons add bite as judges. (A&E, $30)
