Saturday Night Live mocked the "We Are the World" remake over the weekend. Watch above.

"Recently the music world got together to release We Are the World 2 to raise awareness for the Haiti earthquake disaster... sadly, the song itself was a disaster," quipped Kenan Thompson as Quincy Jones.

Revisit stars' funniest SNL moments.

"This new version was a sloppy mess of half-famous randos," he went on.

In the new clip, Jennifer Lopez sings as Rihanna. SNL actors also play Willie Nelson and Gwen Stefani.

This isn't the first time the remake has been panned.

Last month, Jay-Z said the song shouldn't have been "touched."

ANYONE who liked the remake even a little bit was not alive or a toddler when the original was made -- there is no comparison and i say good for SNL for doing the skit -- jay-z was so right -- the original should not have been touched -- what exactly were they thinking -- there wasn't a person there who comes close to any of the original artists -- when they first talked about it i thought they were going to gather all the former video artists and was horrifed to find out that was not the case!!

This was a funny video as I watched it on YouTube but the We Are The World re-make wasn't even close as bad as this. lol.

I thought it was beautiful how all of those great artists came together to re-sing this song. It was beautifully sung! However the song would have been better if Lil Wayne & T-Pain weren't in it. People need to realize that this was done in good taste and done for a good cause. Something good came out of this song and that was to raise money for Haiti! Janet Jackson was even in the song and if the Jacksons had a problem with this I think they would have spoken up. I'm also pretty sure that Michael would have not had a problem with these artists re-singing the song because it was all for a good cause and something Michael always stood for. Michael wanted to help whoever he could help in the world. He donated so much money and these artists came together to support what Michael believes in and that is to make a better day. There's more to the song than it being sung by one of the greatest singer's of all time. It has true meaning behind it. Michael sung this song so we could hear it and sing it too.
