Video Poll: Who Danced Travis Wall's Choreography Best on SYTYCD?
It's been six seasons since Travis Wall last danced competitively on Fox's So You Think You Can Dance, but fans who've missed him were in for a treat on Wednesday's first season 8 live show.
Crafting routines for Sasha Mallory and Alexander Fost and Melanie Moore and Marko Gemar, Wall delivered two of the night's best choreographed dances, according to judges Mary Murphy, Nigel Lythgoe and guest judge Megan Mullally.

Performing a contemporary routine chronicling the end of a couple's relationship, Mallory (one of Adam Lambert's backup dancers) and Fost, were praised by Mullally for their storytelling. Still, all three judges felt the couple lacked a connection.
Moore and Gemar, on the other hand, made up for what Mallory and Fost lacked. Dancing a contemporary number as two statues who come alive to dance at night. An emotional Murphy declared the routine "magic," but the couple's -- and Wall's -- best critique came from Lythgoe.

"It's the first week, and this could be our first Emmy-nominated routine of the season," Lythgoe, SYTYCD's executive producer, gushed of the number, performed to Ingrid Michaelson's "Turn to Stone."

4Travis is not only a great dancer but a great choreographer. I enjoy this show very much. Terrific dancers every year getting better.
Moore and Gemar danced Travis Wall's routines best! I agree with Mr. Lythgoe, and at this rate the Emmy committee may just have to give our Travis a category of his own! He is a brilliant dancer and his coreography is sheer Genius! You can see bits of the love and influence SYTYCD coreographers have inspired in him especially Mama Mia! Who I would hazard a guess to say cries nothing but tears of joy as she sees her prodigy florish and fly like she always told him he was born to do when she judged him as a contestant. I may only see a tiny portion on my screen but man when it's come to Travis Wall he's always seemed to defy all limitations! Thank you Mr. Wall for sharing your gifts with us.
Terrific show, great talent.
I LOVE this show, have never missed any of them. Much better then American Idol.
