Yolanda Foster Praises ‘Courageous’ Husband David Foster for ‘Standing by Me’ on ‘The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’

The Bravo series’ clip shows Yolanda’s supermodel daughter Gigi Hadid introducing her mother from the podium at a Global Lyme Alliance event, where Yolanda, 52, is the honoree.

“For your fight, for your passion and for making your journey one that will help so many, I am so proud to honor you with this award,” Hadid, 20, tells her mom in front of the crowd.

“Thank you to my courageous husband for making actions speak louder than words and standing by me during this painful and very unromantic journey,” she says.

Yolanda and David, 66, announced their split in December 2015 after four years of marriage. A source told Us Weekly that she “felt he wasn’t there for him when she needed him most, and he felt the same. It’s so sad, but the illness really did come between them.” The famed music producer and actress Selma Blair were spotted at dinner together earlier this month, and a source confirmed to Us that it was a date.
