Not a bad way to kill time!
When Zac Efron and Taylor Swift lent their voices to the animated Dr. Seuss flick The Lorax (in theaters March 2), the pair certainly made good use of their downtime.
Anxious to make good on his 2012 New Year's Resolution to learn to play the guitar, Efron called on the country queen to lend a helping hand during an impromptu jam session.
"We were all running around doing different interviews [for The Lorax] but I caught her for five minutes and told her my resolution was to learn how to play guitar," the actor told Us Weekly at Friday's Read Across America Lorax event in New York City. "She was like, 'Well I can play guitar.' So, you know, then she can teach me. It was great!"
And while there's no word yet on if Efron would ever collaborate musically with Swift -- who has a habit of penning tunes about the men in her life -- the actor couldn't rave enough about his teacher.
"She's just lovely -- so sweet," Efron gushed. "Everything that just comes across in her music -- the warmth, her personality, her charm -- is just who she is."
