Ity seems unusual so many film stars diing young. My mom was 66 when she died of Cancer. So I know what her family is doing n ow. How they feel with DClayburgh's death.

life is full of choices and we make our own mistakes in this life and should never be judged by others for it.

  • September 10, 2010 - 12:16am Mike Preston

too many people make judgements without walking in their shoes, my wife of 22 years made a bad choice in shooting up while still a teenager, shes battling now with cirrossis from hep c , and shes been drug free and a good christian woman for 20 years now. but shes still paying for her bad choices, to this insensitive individual, God will forgive you but you still pay for your sins of the past. think about being alittle more compassionate when speaking of others, you never walked in their shoes and you dont know what youd do while in them peace

It's shocking to me how cold and heartless some people can be! Who are you to sit and judge any one for their faults? A life lost is a life lost no matter what the reason be!

I feel sorry for his mom but "living in LA in the 80s" does not grant some sort of umbrella of compassion or understanding in terms of drug use. I managed to avoid it. It's a CHOICE. You want to take drugs, fine. But then this is what happens. Feel sorry for a 2 year old who gets Leukemia. Feel soory for a tattoo-covered idiot? I don't think so. I feel sorry when bad things happen to good people, not when bad things happen to people who cause bad things happen to them or do bad things to themselves. I have zero feelings of sadness in this situation. Mom warned us kids not to harm our bodies with drugs and other garbage. I listened.

Sorry, no tears for coddled, self-absorbed punks like Haim or Renfro. Ohhh ... how they suffered ... yadda, yadda, yadda ... Wonder how their lives would have been, had they ever known REAL suffering?

  • March 10, 2010 - 10:49am Vivian

Corey was a teenager when drugs catch him. Hey Hembree, he is not a piece of garbage, the ones who brought it to him are. He was a child who never came back, you cant judge him, he try as an adult but something just didnt work out.

  • March 10, 2010 - 10:48am franco

with an attitude like timms, lets hope HE don't breed. No problem, who would allow a callous , foolish, non caring fool like him to touch them. Thank God, no worries there !

  • March 10, 2010 - 10:48am Sharon

You left out quite a few names in your list. Patrick Swayze, Elvis, Brittany Murphy, John Ritter, Selena and that's just to name a few.

  • March 10, 2010 - 10:45am Penny

tim hembree lets all pray that yours dont do the same, would you say the same too... may god forgive you for saying he deserves that... his mother didn't deserve that, she would have wanted grandkids.. unbelievable people like you should stick your tongue up your arse.....

  • March 10, 2010 - 10:37am BBeesting

People who need drugs are WEAK WEAK WEAK individuals who make me sick. to take all of your fame and fortune and suck it up your nose or stick it in your arm is the most ignorant thing I have ever heard of. The list of stars who went to soon.....a whole bunch of people that never knew how to live life to the fullest because if they did they would have spent this money on their friends and family and traveled. What more did they have to worry about...why does everyone say it is SOOOO hard for them. Its easier for them...they just choose to be absolutely ignorant individuals.

The celebrity spinner, whose real name was Adam Goldstein, died in August 2009 of an apparent drug overdose at the age of 36. The star -- who battled his own drug addictions and attempted suicide before getting sober more than 10 years ago -- survived a tragic plane crash last year that left him critically injured.
