Sure, Jen Aniston starred in The Break-Up after her big split from husband Brad Pitt and then played a single 40-year-old woman in The Switch, but she swears not every flick is based off her own life.
Take her new comedy, Just Go With It, in which she pretends to be married to Adam Sandler so he can impress the object of his affection: portrayed by super model Brooklyn Decker.
"This one you can't parallel," she told pal Chelsea Handler during her Monday appearance on Chelsea Lately. "I'm not a pretend wife to anybody, and I'm not a doctor, nor have I worked with one, nor played one on TV."
Still, she adds, "I might have a pretend husband somewhere."
The single star, 41, also opened up about another recent work experience where she hired Chelsea Lately employee Brad Wollack to appear in her ad for SmartWater.
"Because I was like, 'God, he gets treated so poorly over here,' that I was like, 'Wouldn't it be nice if he can come and do a nice, light day of SmartWater and electrolytes,'' she joked. "And then I ended up having to kick him in the balls all day, 'cause that was what they wrote."
