Exclusive: Will Smith's Kids "Lend a Hand" to AIDS Charity

Tuesday – October 06, 2009 – 12:19pm

Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith would be so proud!

The star couple's children -- son Jaden, 11, and daughter Willow, 8 -- are serving as youth ambassadors of Hasbro's Project Zambi, Usmagazine.com has confirmed.

See photos of Will Smith and other stars as cartoon characters!

The siblings, both actors, are teaming up with the global initiative dedicated to raising awareness  for the 15 million children who have lost parents and relatives to the AIDS epidemic in Africa

"Willow and I joined Project Zambi to represent all the kids out there who want to make the world a better place," Jaden told Us in a statement. "We want to encourage kids everywhere to lend a hand and join us in spreading the word about how much children who have been orphaned by AIDS in Africa need our help."

Take a look at Willow and Jaden's parents on their wedding day!

Jaden -- who is currently filming Kung Fu Kid -- and Willow have joined other celebrities in autographing custom-designed, one-of-a-kind collectible elephant models that are available in a celebrity charity auction.

All the money raised from the sale of each elephant will be donated to a charity that supports children orphaned by AIDS in Africa.

Willow and Jaden's choice? The Chikumbuso Women and Orphan's Project in Zambia.

"Project Zambi is about kids and for kids, and it's so important that we all learn to take care of each other," Willow told Us in a statement. "Even from the other side of the world, kids in Africa will know they have friends who care about them."

Yes, I'm very sure Jadan and Willow's parents are VERY PROUD OF THEM. To have children who care so much, is a wonderful trait in their psychological makeup and as adults they will be powerful humans in this world. God Bless Them and Bless the wonderful parents who have raised them.

Very nice to see children living by example. More young people need to be made aware of how others live around the world. Many American children do not realize the basic things we ALL are guilty of taking for granted. God continue to bless this family and the LOVE they share with the world.

Last year I was in Lesotho a mountanious country land-locked by South Africa assessing the potential projects to enahnce the livelihoods of the people over there. Children there need lots of help and if we can work togehter folks we might help as many as we could. I was born in Tanzania and my hope is to team up with teams of folks to assist one child at a time. Jada and Will keep up the good work. As a specialist in agro-forestry if there is any way I can help, I am open to get my feet wet for the sake of African children and also in Macedonia. As parents sometimes we make mistakes and no one is perfect. If we seek forgiveness and we are honesty about it the healing process is needed and we can move on for the sake of our children and their children.

A PLEA FOR LOVE:As most of you all know christmas is right around the corner,It is a blessing for most of us, but for some families it is going to be a big struggle just to prepare there holiday meal.We are doing an outreach called"Operation Christmas" Where we feed over 500 needy families. Some of these families are so... bad off that they have to sleep on the floor in layers of clothing(including babies) ,just to stay warm.Just to pay for gas for the heater is to much of a sacrafice for these folks. And the ratio is around 6-10 people per 900-1300 Sq.Ft homes. Not only do we feed them, but we bring a Christmas tree and decorate it for them and leave gifts for all those in the house. To see there smiles and tears is something you will "NEVER" forget! So we are looking for families who may have been blessed this year, to maybe step up and sponsor a family,so "PLEASE" pass this on! You can do this thru cash donations, gift cards,Toys for children ages 1-15,bikes and anything else that a family may need.Things like cases of diapers and wipes are a big thing, winter jackets of all sizes, household goods (bedding,dishes,pots/pans..etc) . If there is ANYONE you know who would like to share there love this season, please email me at kidzchurchcitylights@yahoo.com or send me a message on facebook. There is also a tax donation number available for those who need it.Or go to www.srdreamcenter.org , www.gccmission.org ,we are also looking for x-mas trees in bulk. Thank in advance for your hearts. Love And GOD bless you and yours this year, Love Anthony Gordon "REMEMBER A LITTLE LOVE GOES A LONG WAY" * YOU CAN DONATE THRU OUR WEBSITE-WWW.SRDREAMCENTER.ORG (Thanks in advance for your hearts) **Outreach is scheduled for Dec.19th Responses are needed immediately**
