  Adam can't help it if he's so beautiful. If he was uglier, I bet many would have a completely different reaction. I think some straight men get freaked out when they find another man so visually appealing. I personally adore Adam's sense of humor & that he doesn't take himself so seriously. At the time time, I admit there will be some turned off by the cover. Hopefully,they'll buy from itunes instead. The singles cover shot for "FYE" may have been the better pick, but it's Adams choice & I trust his judgement.He hasn't disappointed me yet..."He's in & owns my heart!"

  Yes, he is what he is BUT he should have some respect and not put it in the faces of others who might not agree with his sexual orientation. It is little too much with the whole body looking as if he is naked. I'm not a prude but I can assure you that there will be people who would have BUT will NOT buy the album. To each his own or NOT!

  the pic of him is visually quite strong, but the surreal glossed over look of the face is very jarring against the photorealistic background, like a cut and paste job. also the placement and choice of fonts look like an afterthought. i like the art direction but the execution comes off like a poor pastiche. i think adam deserves better.

  I am a graphic artist and I have to say, this is terrible! Looks like it was thrown together on a home computer program. Very below average design on this one. If you are going to try and design something that pays homeage to the past you have to have an element of today in there otherwise it just looks like a bad copy of 70's and 80's cover art. Very cheesey and unoriginal.

  The more I see it , the more I love it. I Think he looks more gorgeous without airbrushing. This is just more fun. Noone can say that Adam is boring. I can't wait to buy his cd, and go to his concerts. I saw him when he came to Michigan, and he was fantastic!

  Does anybody else not think the cover is that outlandish? I mean David Bowie in his hayday (sp?) had shiny eyeliner on too. I think this is one of those freak out cause he's gay things that isn't that big of a deal. He's very talented and hopefully after his record comes out his talent will speak for itself and any controversies surrounding him will be pushed aside as talent really is the only thing that matters.

  Don't worry Debbie. When is the last time you bought a cd because of what was on the cover? Most people buy them because of the music that's inside. No doubt Adam will have some awesome music! Besides, these days most people download their songs. Having said that, I love Adam's cover pic. I love that he has the guts to do something like this. It is what sets him apart from other Idol contestants. Well, his guts and that out of this world voice!
