DWTS' Kathy Ireland Gets Seven Stitches

Uh, oh! Another Dancing With the Stars contestant is injured one week before the hit ABC show's premiere.
A day after former house majority leader Tom DeLay revealed he has a "pre-stress fracture," one-time model Kathy Ireland has announced she received seven stitches.
But Ireland wasn't on the dance floor when she hurt herself.
On partner Tony Dovolani's advice to "go out and have some fun," she hit the beach with her family, according to E! Dovolani told her kids to "make sure she doesn't do anything to injure herself."

While surfing with her son Erik, a wave caused her board to flip up against the side of her leg, causing the deep gash.
The 46 year old was stitched up by her husband, Greg Olsen, an ER doctor at a nearby hospital in Santa Barbara, Calif.
She'll still participate in Monday's show, according to E!
