An unusually wistful episode for the melodrama: As Kitty (Calista Flockhart) starts chemotherapy — and frets that her cancer will derail Robert (Rob Lowe)'s gubernatorial race — Sarah (Rachel Griffiths) perks her up by recounting her recent fling with a hunky Frenchman (Gilles Marini, showing off his Dancing With the Stars bod in a tank top), which is revealed via corny flashbacks. Once again, the show's inviting cast outshines its humdrum plotlines. (ABC, 10 P.M.)
