Embattled Donda West Surgeon's Ring Tone: "Let's Get It On!"

Donda West's plastic surgeon, Jan Adams, was in a San Pedro, California courtroom this afternoon for a hearing in a malpractice case unrelated to the death of West.
Wearing a black pinstripe suit, Adams, 55, was looking through papers before the hearing when his cell phone rang, playing the Marvin Gaye hit "Let's Get it On."
It was an interesting ring choice for the doctor, who was accused of sexual battery by a patient in 2005. In the ensuing legal actions, the patient claimed that Adams made inappropriate house calls, got her drunk, and had intercourse with her. When she terminated the resulting pregnancy, she alleged that he got angry and cut her chin with a knife.
Adams performed a tummy tuck and a breast reduction on Kanye West's mother Donda West on November 9. The 58-year-old died from complications from the surgeries the next day.
In addition to the sexual battery suit and prior malpractice cases, Adams has two DUIs on record, which prompted the Medical Board of California last April to ask for his medical license to be revoked or suspended.
Despite all the attention on him since Donda West's death, Adams told Us at the courthouse, "I feel fine." When asked if he regretted West's death, or wished to express his sympathies to her family, he replied, "No comment."

This drives me CRAZY. People go in and have their bodies shredded for purposes of VANITY, not even health related, and WITHOUT EVEN CONFIRMING HER CAUSE OF DEATH VIA THE AUTOPSY, this guy is a murderer? It's bogus. If he neglected doing this surgery correctly and directly caused her death, then lock him up! But until we KNOW FOR A FACT what EXACTLY happened to her, this guy shouldnt be on the cover of every mag. If it comes out that she died of heart failure (or something other than his negligence) he should sue every magazine who exploited him. If it comes out that he directly caused her death, he should be put in prison. Until then, we shouldnt even hear or see info about this man OR the death of Ms. West. It's personal information.

I've watched my mom get into this stuff. Lips, eyes, fat injections. It doesn't last. I can understand it when it's corrective like a huge bump in the nose or breasts that hang to your knees. I wish people understood more about airbrushing in magazines. Genetics! Work w/what you have! Smile, eat healthy, excercise. Wear nice make up, whiten your teeth, take care of your clothes, good hygiene.
And Mr. let's get it on is a womanizer. Creep.

Plastic surgeons get rich because way too many people are so vain and insecure. Sad that people can't accept the fact that not EVERYONE can be a gorgeous size 2. But hey..a lot of people DIE trying to be..

If Kanye was a real man i'm sure he told her not to do it. Sometimes women just need to hear that they're beautiful I guess. Please stop the plastic surgery ladies, if you're not happy with yourself now, you're damn sure not going to be happy after your body is all cut up and damaged. A lot of people have nerve damage after cosmetic surgery as well. Is it really that important? It goes down to low self esteem.

God made us the way he wanted us to be. Everytime we try to mess with nature, humans always f--k it up. Hollywood is what killed her, everyone wants to be a size two, that's crazy. I think she was perfect the way she was. Anybody in their right mind should not let this loser cut up their body. I wouldn't care how many TV shows he was on.

Sounds harsh but there ARE risks to having elective surgery. Vanity may of taken over when she decided to have surgery with this Dr. instead of following the advice of a previous Dr. who warned her that she wasn't healthy enough for plastic surgery.

98% of all stars have plastic surgery & they come out fine and dandy. I think Donda should have heeded the advice of the first doctor that said he would not perform the surgery until she got a clean bill of health. Yes this doctor needs his license revoked, I think he is an a**hole but it was partly Donda's fault to.
