Miley Cyrus is used to teary-eyed fans excited to see her, but the singer herself got weepy the day after Christmas when she and dad Billy Ray Cyrus visited NYC Fire Department Ladder Company 10, which lost four firefighters on 9/11.
"They were in tears once we told them what some of the guys went through," fireman Gary Kolsch tells Us Weekly in its latest issue, on newsstands now.
The Cyruses did manage to spread some holiday cheer: Billy Ray, 46, sang "Silent Night," and Miley, 15, signed autographs.
The mood brightened even more the next day when Kolsch and his daughter went backstage at Miley's concert on Long Island – and the singer said hello.
Kolsch tells Us, "My daughter is still talking about it!"

Well Im 13 and I love Miley. She is cute and spunky. Sure her voice isnt the best but she doesnt have a bad voice either. I think that people should stop putting pictures in the internet and magazines when they dont now the story she is still only 15. You have to remember she isnt 20 so she is going to do alot of silly things but its not your business seriously. And there are alot of people who are jelly of her but that doesnt mean you should ahte her because I love her! But that is just what I think!!!!

I love Miley! She is such an amazing role model for girls today. She is totally down to earth and has a family that keeps her that way. I hope her career only blossoms more in the upcoming years, she deserves it! I just hope she never becomes anything remotely close to brit or lindsay or any of those other bleeps in the spotlight. Well I think Miley Cyrus is a good role model for young girls. She carries herself like a young lady should, wears CLOTHES instead of showing her body like a tramp, doesn't get in trouble with boys, booze, or drugs. Plus her parents are functional rather than dysfunctional! They are keeping a watchful eye on their child rather than pimping her out to make the family money a la LYNNE SPEARS! So I am hoping she continues to be a good example for young girls and her parents continue to guide her properly. We can only hope!

I do not like Miley that much, as a 14 y/o girl from tennessee, she makes us come off as hilbilly rednecks., i grew up in Frankiln the same place as miley, and no one acts the way she does on her show,,, although i do not like her she is a great role model for little kids.. lets hope she stays that way!!
