Madonna accepted the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction on Monday, with a raucous speech that included calling the audience “motherf**ers” and sharing sordid tales about her life in music.
She gleefully recalled when she met her long-time publicist Liz Rosenberg. She was "smoking a joint," Madonna said. She also told the crowd she split a tab of ecstasy with a music executive who she gave her first demo tape to.
The 49-year-old pop star then mimicked Michael Jackson in a squeaky voice, describing how she went after and stole Jackson’s manager.
Iggy Pop, who she said was “another a** kicker from Michigan," performed her hits "Ray of Light" and "Burning Up."
Madonna blamed her racy speech on Justin Timberlake, who introduced her with his own ribald jokes and mocking. "He's bringing sexy back," she said, "I’ll get you f****!"

Wow, intresting direction these comments took. Subject is Madonna but suddenly we have civil rights, Pierce Brosnan and English class coming into the discussion.
Anyway....Madonna is not a rock and roll artist, she is a pop artist, and not a very good one at that. Oh yeah, she made her money, whatever, she was the artist du jour for awhile and then everyone who wanted to be her grew up and took her place. In grand style I might add, Britney is a real piece of work. Madonna is a 49 year old woman trying to act like a 20 year old girl. Perhaps if she acted her age she'd get more respect. I'm not a prude, but calling an audience of your peers motherf'ers at a ceremony honoring you is just plane rude. Oh yeah, waa waa, it's "rock and roll" so being bad is acceptable, right? Made herself look like a moron is what she did.
The only positive thing I can say about Madonna is that at least she gave her kids normal names. It's hard enough to have to grow up with her as a mother carrying on as she does. Thankfully they don't get teased at school for being named Banana on top of it!

Yes, I've heard of it. And you must be too naive to believe slavery ended after the Civil War. Slavery was going on well into the 1900s. Just because some law was passed and a war ended doesn't mean blacks were completely free of slavery. Also, googling something and reading whatever the first five sources that come up say doesn't make you educated on a subject.

The laughable part of all this is that Madonna doesn't allow her own DAUGHTER to watch television, because she doesn't want her influenced negatively by the culture that has made HER wealthy!!!
