Carrie Underwood and Chace Crawford have split, sources confirm to Usmagazine.com.
The American Idol winner, 25, and the Gossip Girl star, 22, had been dating since last July, but did not go public with their romance until October.
Underwood had spent Thanksgiving at his parents' home in Dallas and part of her Christmas break with his relatives.
An insider told Us Weekly in December, "His parents are fond of her... they believe 'Carrie Crawford' would be a great addition to the family!"
"She's a classy girl," Crawford told Us in October.
Rumors linking Crawford to buddy JC Chasez sparked Chasez to tell Kiss-FM 104.7 Wednesday, "For the record, we're both straight. We're not dating."
Underwood's rep was not available for comment; Crawford's declined to comment.

Its good they broke up He probably could never live with her career and have his own.She's better off with Ace till she find another country singer to hook up with.Have a relationship like Tim McGraw and Faith Hill have,or Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood and other Country Music Couples like the Cash's.
I think it is very sad that broke-up. BUT LEAVE THEM ALONE IT IS THEIR LIVE AND NO ONE LIKES PEOPLE ALL UP IN THEIR LIFE.

Carrie is a great woman and an awesome singer! Carrie has moral standards! She was raised Baptist and she has high standards for good reasons! Chace was like an apple who looked great to Carrie's eyes in the beginning but after a few bites it was nasty! Good for Carrie dumping Chace! She don't need to marry someone from Hollywood! She will marry a great guy from the South! You keep on singing Carrie I love you!
alright well i dont really have a clue who this chace guy is, but i know who Carrie Underwood is, and I have met her, and I am pretty sure that she isn't a "stuck up b***h" like many people have said... so if you haven't even ever listened to any of her music, and haven't even ever heard her sing, then just shut up because you are basically a retard!
Pretty sure people need to stop making comments about Carrie if they don't know her. I happen to have met her twice thanks to her amazing fan club and her for being a part of it. She is a SWEETHEART! She's so shy and she is so damn humble it's just hard to believe. This girl is in no way stuck-up or greedy or selfish like some of you are speculating. Carrie Underwood is high maintenance and to demanding. There is only so much patience in the world for people like that. So probably Chase is letting her speak because he does not want to be involved with her anymore. And her songs suck!!

You know Carrie Underwood has had great success with her music career. She is in the middle of co-headling with Keith Urban and her own headling tour. Chace Crawford is still in the "OMG, he is so cute" part of his acting career, but I think he will be very successful if he doesn't go crazy like alot of young Hollywood. Both are talented, attractive young stars. I doubt either has any trouble finding someone to spend time with. And with any luck both will find someone special to make a commitment to. And those who are saying nasty stuff about either are just kinda pathetic.
