Humanitarian hotties **Brad Pitt** and **Angelina Jolie** aren't directing all of their celebrity powers to overseas charities. The couple has announced plans to frequently visit Hurricane Katrina-ravaged New Orleans throughout the year to observe the city's clean-up progress.

"We're going to be spending a lot of time down here," said Pitt, who'll pop up there throughout January and February while shooting the drama The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.

They were in the Big Easy August 31 to reveal the winner of a design competition (which Pitt started in April) to rebuild neighborhoods using eco-friendly designs and construction. (The winning plan, submitted by Matthew Berman and Andrew Kotchen of Workshop APD in New York, features designs for six single-family housing units, 12 multifamily units and a community center and play area.)

Pitt wants to replicate the project in other parts of the city.

"This is a social justice issue," he said. "In a catastrophe, you help the most vulnerable first, and we failed to do that."
