Lindsay wearing a large sparkler on her ring finger at the 63rd Venice Film Festival on September 5th, 2006
Lindsay Lohan’s left ring finger was bare in Maui, Hawaii, September 2. But engagement rumors flew after her beau of two months, Harry Morton, 25, window-shopped for rings at Cartier in Beverly Hills on August 30, and after the 20-year-old wore a ring on that finger at the Venice Film Festival on September 4. The truth?
"Not engaged," says a Lohan source. (Her rep tells Us, "To my knowledge, she is not engaged.")
Savvy readers will remember the publicity-seeking star with a ring on last December, too, despite the lack of an actual fiancé.

Are you serious? I don't understand why anything involving Lindsey Lohan is considered news or gossip. She herself has said in interviews that she likes the attention, that she does outrageous stuff that she knows will get her in the magazines. This is obviously a lame attempt at getting on the cover of a tabloid. I don't understand why such a pretty and talented young girl would want that trashy level of fame when she could be getting praise for her acting and maturity.

Anyway, I hate it when celebreties go out to an event with a giant diamond ring on their 'ring finger' and then make statements saying they aren't engaged. I mean, do thing we're stupid or something? Why do celebreties treat their fans like idiots?
It would be like Angelina Jolie walking down the red carpet at the oscars with a huge pregnant belly shortly after releasing a statment saying she's not pregnant.
