The comedian offers many zany one-liners in Barry Levinson’s post–West Wing political satire, with strong support from Laura Linney as his computer-pro cutie. The plot isn’t all that funny, but the jokes are — like Dobbs’ riff on his Angelina Jolie obsession: “I just want to wet her lips and stick her to something.”
