Britney Spears’ Baby Name Mix-Up

A birth certificate for Britney Spears' and Kevin Federline's six-week-old son was filed at the L.A. County Registrar-Recorder's office Tuesday, and reveals that his name is Jayden James Federline.

The child's name was thought to be Sutton Pierce Federline, as widely reported by media outlets like Us Weekly, People, and Access Hollywood.

According to TMZ, the certificate was signed by K-Fed himself on September 13, just one day after Jayden was born. The certificate states that the child was born at Cedars-Sinai Hospital at 1:11 a.m. The father is listed as Kevin Earl Federline (DOB 3/21/78) and the mother is listed as Britney Jean Spears (DOB 12/02/81).

anyone basing the name they give their child around a celebrity needs a reality check. WHO CARES IF PEOPLE THINK YOU COPIED BRIT SPEARS!? DO YOU LIKE THE NAME? THEN WHO CARES! i still and will alway's think she is a whor and only wanted a kid to maske her more popular. its all a publisaty act. in all of the pictures i now see of her they all have some one else holding the baby. but the name is a good name and it's a good call on the name you cant really make fun of the name.

I think that Sutton Pierce was just a little too classy for her, and that Jayden is a better fit only cause of its popularity...I loved the name 6 years ago when it was still uncommon..no offense to those who have it, but its just like any other name that gets popular...My name is Chelsea and I've never met anyone my age, (23) but there are TONS of girls aged 13-18 that I've met with that name it just had a popularity streak! The bonus is now that she changed it I can use the name Sutton and not worry about anyone thinking I copied her, I LOVE that name!

Why not focus on how Jessica simpson is in line to become the new white trash poster child replacing this new mom of 2 kids? By the way, either names seem fine. We aren't making fun of her body, we are simply encouraging her to give her girls some much needed support. Bras reduce the chance of permanent sagging, and are crucial in the time after giving birth. As for the name, I much prefer Jayden. Sutton Pierce sounds like a law firm.
