Katy Perry sure seems to know the way to new boyfriend Russell Brand's heart -- through lingerie and sports!

The 25-year-old "Waking Up in Vegas" singer wore 12 different outfits to host Thursday's MTV Europe Music Awards, but it was her skimpy lingerie ensemble that put her comedian beau on notice.

'Wow. Now MY GIRLFRIEND has worn a West Ham basque while hosting the EMAs," Brand wrote on his Twitter page after Perry showed off a bustier-and-hotpants version of his favorite soccer team's uniform.

As an added shout-out to her beau, Perry cheekily stitched his nickname, "Rusty," on her backside.

"What a day! I might revive Gandhi and ask if he wants to be mates," Brand, who has dated the singer for seven weeks, Twittered.

Perry says her outfits -- including a pink Marchesa gown and a red velvet coat and suspenders -- took lots of planning.

"I spent a lot of time working out every single detail, just making sure every look was perfect," she told London's Daily Mail before hitting the stage.
