Catherine Zeta-Jones

Born on September 25, 1969, Catherine Zeta-Jones left her home country of Wales to act on the London stage. Early success on the 1991 British TV series The Darling Buds of May led to smaller roles in America, but it wasn’t until 1998’s The Mask of Zorro that Zeta-Jones became a household name.
In 2002, Zeta-Jones showed off her musical talents in Chicago which earned her a Best Supporting Actress Oscar. When she’s not acting, Zeta-Jones serves as the spokesperson in the T-Mobile TV ad campaign. Although she turned down a marriage proposal from Hollywood producer Jon Peters in 1996 because she didn’t want to be a “Hollywood wife,”
Zeta-Jones wed Michael Douglas just four years later in 2000. The two have been happily married ever since, pursuing completely independent careers while raising their two children, Dylan Michael and Carys Zeta.
