Helen Mirren

Born in 1945 in Britain, Helen Mirren has starred in countless films over the last four decades, making her one of Hollywood’s elite.
First appearing in 1967’s Herostratus, Mirren has since appeared in many films including Raising Helen, Teaching Mrs. Tingle, and The Queen, for which she was nominated for a Best Actress Golden Globe.
No stranger to awards and accolades, Mirren is the first female actress to be nominated for a Golden Globe for three different performances. Always a professional, regardless of the medium, the actress chose to accept a role in Calendar Girls, in which her character appeared nude.
Mirren has been married to director Taylor Hackford since 1997.
