
Anna Paquin

New Zealand actress Anna Paquin had her breakthrough performance in The Piano, which earned her an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress when she was only 11 years old.
In 1996, she appeared in two films — first as Jane in Jane Eyre and the other as a young girl in the drama Fly Away Home. As she grew older, she had notable supporting roles in Almost Famous, She’s All That and Amistad.
In 2000, Paquin played the role of Rogue in the blockbuster X-Men, along with the sequel X2 and he third installment, X-Men: The Last Stand. In 2007, Paquin received an Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Miniseries or Movie with her role in HBO’s Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee.
Paquin currently stars in the HBO series True Blood. Her role as Sookie Stackhouse won her a Golden Globe in 2009 for Best Performance by an Actress in a Television Series – Drama.

In August 2009, Paquin announced her engagement to True Blood co-star Stephen Moyer. They married in August 2010, and in September 2012, welcomed twins Charlie and Poppy.
