The son of President John F. Kennedy, JFK Jr. was in the spotlight since his birth on November 25, 1960.

One of the few presidential children to be raised in the White House, the handsome brunette became known as “America’s Son.”

A Harvard alum who pursued a career in law, JFK Jr. was also a journalist and founded George, a political lifestyle magazine that has since folded.

A swooned over bachelor who ran in the New York City socialite crowd, he married Carolyn Bessette in 1996.

However, the glam couple, along with Carolyn’s sister, was killed in 1999 when the aircraft JFK Jr. was piloting crashed into the Atlantic Ocean.
