Simon Barney

Simon Barney is best known as the ex-husband of Tamra Judge and for appearing on The Real Housewives of Orange County. Barney was born on March 16, 1964. He has kept much of his early life private and has not publicly shared many details about his childhood or education, including whether he attended college or earned a degree.

Before becoming a reality TV personality, Barney worked in the business and sales field. He entered the public eye through his marriage to Judge, who joined The Real Housewives of Orange County in 2008. Their relationship, family life and eventual split became a major storyline on the Bravo series. Barney appeared on the show throughout their marriage and remained relevant in the series following their divorce, custody disputes and coparenting journey.

Outside of The Real Housewives of Orange County, Barney has largely stayed out of the entertainment spotlight. In 2020, he revealed that he had been diagnosed with stage 3 throat cancer, and his family has continued to share updates on his treatment and recovery via social media.

Barney married Judge in 1998. The former couple share daughters Sidney and Sophia and son Spencer. The pair finalized their divorce in 2011 following a highly publicized split. Barney later moved on with Catushia Ienni, and the pair got engaged in 2016.
