No horror story here! Emmy-nominated actress Angela Bassett stuns in the latest issue of Violet Grey and Us Weekly has the exclusive sneak peek.
Bassett, who is nominated for an Emmy for best supporting actress for her role in American Horror Story: Coven, looks sexy in the black and white photos proving she’s still got it at age 55.
In one photo, the actress, who says “love and sugar” are her greatest weaknesses, gazes into a mirror while wearing nothing but a bustier and men’s white button-up shirt. In another snap, the What’s Love Got to Do with It star shows off her gams in stockings and leopard-print heels.
When it comes to getting her look together—sans her glam squad—Bassett tells Violet Grey she can get ready in an impressive ten minutes! “Well, it only takes me about ten minutes! I start thinking about it in the car on the way home. ‘Do I want to be flirty? Sensual? Powerful?’ Then I try to dress for that feeling. My husband [actor Courtney B. Vance] always says ‘Lord, you’ve made something out of nothing, how did you do that?’”
