Candace Cameron Bure’s daughter, Natasha Perry (née Bure), admittedly struggled with her body image when she first found out that she is pregnant.

“That is something I was not expecting,” Perry, 27, said during the Wednesday, June 17, episode of “The Squeeze” podcast. “I remember telling two of my girl friends and I was probably only 8 weeks pregnant, if that. I was like, ‘I am not showing at all but I don’t fit in any of my clothes and I don’t know how that’s possible.’”

Natasha announced in May that she is expecting her first baby with her husband, Bradley Steven Perry.

“By four weeks, we would send each other like pictures of our belly by the end and we looked like we were nine months pregnant and like there was no bump, but it was just bloating,” she told podcast host Tay Lautner, who is also expecting a baby with husband Taylor Lautner. “I was not expecting that at all.”

As Natasha passed her first trimester and embraced her newfound curves, the influencer started to have “more confidence” in her body.

“I was not expecting for my body to change as quickly as it did, and everyone’s pregnancy is very different,” Natasha acknowledged. “Whether you have the most massive appetite or you’re barely eating, you still gain weight. Like, you just do and your body’s changing. There’s also something just weird ‘cause it all feels out of your control, and it feels very foreign.”

For Natasha, she said that she hardly recognized her own body.

“The first few months I was like, I actually don’t even know whose body I’m living in. It just feels very foreign to me,” she recalled. “And now, obviously, I’m in a better place with it.”

Natasha has also received an onslaught of commentary about her weight gain — and her decision to wear bump-baring maternity clothes.

“Raise your hand if you will never understand people being offended by a pregnant belly being out? Let me just be the first to say: I do not care,” she quipped in a TikTok video shared earlier this month. “I didn’t know this was a thing until I have received countless DMs from grown women telling me I need to put my belly away, buy a bigger shirt or sending me the lengthiest stories about how when they were pregnant, in their time, they didn’t do that.”

Natasha continued at the time, “I love my pregnant belly, [and] I have never in my life been so proud of my body, so proud that I’m growing a little baby in there — and this is coming from someone that dealt with body insecurity … my entire life. I love that when I look down, I see my little baby.”

Natasha is the eldest child of Full House child star Candace, 50, and her husband, Valeri Bure, who also share sons Lev, 26, and Maksin, 24. (Lev and his wife, Elliott Bure, are also expecting a baby later in 2026.)
