Cindy Crawford: How I Keep My Body at 44

Cindy Crawford works hard to maintain her supermodel body — but not too hard.

"I try to be 80 percent good, 80 percent of the time," she told at a JCPenney Spring Style event in NYC on Tuesday. "We all know when we're blowing it, but as long as you don't do that all the time…"

So, when she's not being 20 percent bad, the former model, 44, goes hiking to burn calories.

"We live in Malibu, so there's a lot of great hiking there," she tells Us. "I work out with a trainer three times a week."

She also uses the Power Plate, workout equipment that incorporates vibration training to reduce cellulite.

"I was hoping you could just stand on it but it doesn't work that way," she says. "But it's all about breaking up your routine because if you get bored, then you stop doing it."

The mother of two — she has son Presley, 10, and daughter Kaia, 8, with hubby Rande Gerber — also makes sure she diets responsibly.

For breakfast, she'll eat oatmeal and blueberries with her son and enjoy a salad with chicken or shrimp for lunch. At dinner, she'll serve up fish and vegetables. Crawford also admits to having "a little chocolate mixed in" between meals from time to time.

"I have a daughter, so I east consciously because I want her to see me eat healthy and not think that she can't have dessert ever," she tells Us. "I think its a bad example for her."
