Colin Farrell plays a brutal serial killer with possible supernatural powers in Solace, due out next year, but on Monday, Aug. 5, he was all cuddles and sweetness while enjoying a day at the beach with his son Henry.
The 37-year-old dad was photographed looking incredibly fit and perfectly tanned in Malibu as he held his adorable 3-year-old after playing in the surf. (Henry's mom is ex-girlfriend Alicja Bachleda. Farrell is also father to 9-year-old James with ex-girlfriend Kim Bordenave.)
Father and son sported matching wet hair, but while a swimsuit-clad Henry was wrapped in a beige towel to keep warm, the Miami Vice hunk showed off his toned body in just his navy Hawaiian-print swim trunks. A scruffy goatee and tiny hoop earring completed the actor's sexy, shirtless beach look.
In an in interview with Details in 2012, the Irish actor spoke about the joys of parenting. "Not knowing what the f–k I'm doing as a dad is huge. I don't know what I'm doing, and that's a very liberating thing. You just go, 'Oh look, there's s–t on the floor.' There's actually s–t on the floor — I have a picture of it on my phone. So what do you do? You clean it up, put a diaper on his ass, and that's that," Farrell says of raising a toddler. "It's just about being present for these guys."
