Surprise! Eddie Redmayne has officially ditched his Stephen Hawking Theory of Everything persona. The Oscar nominee put on his best smolder and showed off his secret impressive rock-hard abs in new Jupiter Ascending stills.
In the upcoming sci-fi flick, which also stars Mila Kunis and Channing Tatum, the Brit plays villain Balem.
“I f—ing loved it,” Redmayne, 33, exclaimed during an interview with Collider about working with Matrix geniuses Andy Wachowski and Lana Wachowski. “I love them. I love their brains. I’ve never done anything like Jupiter Ascending and I was a little worried …but it was the most liberating thing [working with green screens].”
“It was really wonderful,” he added of working with Tatum. “That man, Channing Tatum, is a superhero. He’s like old-school. He can do everything…I got to witness Channing and Mila strung up 30 feet in the air with Channing wearing rollerblades — it was extraordinary.”
