Dang! Gwyneth Paltrow’s in the best shape of her life. The June 2015 Women’s Health cover girl, who shows off her incredible bikini bod in the issue, revealed to the mag she feels more confident with her body now at age 42 than ever before.
“I feel way more comfortable in a bathing suit now than I did 20 years ago,” the Oscar winner admitted, before going into detail about her daily routine and diet.
“My routine is the same every weekday,” the Goop creator explained. “I drop my kids at school. I do an hour of dance cardio and then I go to work.”
After starting her day with a cup of coffee with half-and-half — the Tracy Anderson devotee says “me with no coffee is not a good look” — Paltrow will have a “smoothie” following her work out.
“For lunch I usually have a big salad with grilled chicken, and then for dinner I’ll have whatever I want,” Paltrow dished. “Most nights I eat with the kids, like, a stir-fry of chicken and broccoli or pasta or roast chicken and potatoes.”
And you can forget those rumors that Paltrow doesn’t let her kids Apple, 11, and Moses, 9, enjoy kid-friendly foods. “My food philosophy is: Nothing should be ruled out,” she told the magazine. “I don’t believe in saying, ‘You’re not allowed that.’ If my kids want a Shirley Temple with the radioactive cherry in it, go for it, you know?”
In fact, Chris Martin’s ex-wife’s diet isn’t as strict as you’d think. “The other day I was flying and the turbulence was so bad, I was like, ‘F—k this.’ I had a Bloody Mary in the middle of the day,” she candidly recalled.
Paltrow’s beauty routine — although she’s known for touting products on Goop — is surprisingly equally relaxed.
“I’m not really a ‘beauty person.’ I believe, as cheesy as it sounds, in exercise, laughing, having sex, being yourself,” Paltrow said. “I’m not like, ‘Then I use this masque that I make on my stove.’”
