How to Get Lady Gaga’s Amazing Body

Rock-hard abs, sleek arms and totally toned legs: Lady Gaga wasn't born this way — she works hard for her physique! "She totally transformed her body," says her trainer Harley Pasternak. "She used to have very little muscle tone, but we firmed her up." The pro, who guides the 25-year-old 5-foot-1 singer through 35-minute strength sessions five times a week (she gets enough cardio performing!), shares her sculpting secrets with Us Weekly.


"Getting a great rear end was another priority for Gaga," says Pasternak. Skater lunges (six sets of 20) did the trick! "You cross your right leg behind your left and drop your right knee like you're curtseying," he explains. "Then switch sides and do it again to complete one rep."


To tone her thighs, Gaga does reverse lunges (six sets of 20) while holding a 10-pound weight in each hand, above the knees. Says the pro, "She can do this move in hotel rooms."


"Most of what she wears shows her stomach, so her goal was to have the best abs ever," Pasternak shares. The star whittles her middle with bicycle crunches (six sets of 20). "They train her abs from every direction," he says.


Gaga wants to look like she has long arms," says Pasternak. How to achieve it? Overhead dumbbell triceps extensions (six sets of 20) and lateral dumbbell raises for her shoulders. "We wanted to tone every ounce of her body."
