With just days until she ties the knot in India, Katy Perry proudly introduced fiance Russell Brand to X-Factor judges Simon Cowell and Cheryl Cole following her "Firework" performance on Sunday.
Clad in a glittering black catsuit designed by Mumbai-based designers Falguni and Shane Peacock, the 26-year-old singer showed no signs of wedding jitters.
"She had so much fun with Simon, and Russell was chatting with him too," a source tells UsMagazine.com. "Katy was hugging Russell a lot after her performance. She kept asking him 'Was I OK?' 'Was it OK?', but he was nothing but supportive. He was stroking her bum in her catsuit. He couldn't keep her hands off her, actually."
But the pre-wedding fun didn't end there.
"Her and Russell had their very own private screening of The Social Network," another insider tells Us of their Monday plans. "They were driven back to the hotel after."
The performance marked Perry's final public appearance as a single woman. According to a source, the couple will fly to India on Tuesday for an over-the-top, 6-day extravaganza. Private jets will bring in most of the 50 to 75 guests — including Perry's pal Rihanna — who will bunk in six "pimped-out" tents.
But just last week, Brand, 35, carefully avoided questions in regards to the big day details during a Q&A in NYC.
"I'm trying to preserve it, to keep it a beautiful thing," he explained. "I think people get the wrong idea on how we want the wedding to play out. Love between two people is the most spectacular yet ordinary thing in the world."
