Hot mama! Kate Winslet hit Australia on Monday, Oct. 20, looking trim and pretty while spending time down under.
Winslet, 39, is in Melbourne, Australia for the first day of filming for her next movie The Dressmaker. Her costume accentuated her fit post-baby body, hugging her curves just ten months after the birth of her third child.
The Oscar winner, who welcomed son Bear Blaze in December 2013 with third husband Ned Rocknroll, showed a tiny waist in the Dressmaker getup. She wore a wide black belt over a sleeved, V-neck dress with patterned accents along the neckline and the skirt’s pockets.
Winslet got into character with her hair in loose, strawberry-blonde waves, and looked fresh-faced in minimal makeup. She paired the delicate dress with casual Adidas slide-on sandals.

In the upcoming film, Winslet plays Myrtle “Tilly” Dunnage, a woman who returns to the small Australian town where she grew up as a successful adult. Working as a dressmaker, Dunnage was wrongly accused of murder as a child and fled the community as a result. The woman finds her way back to the village in order to take care of her sick mother.
Based on Rosalie Ham‘s novel of the same name, The Dressmaker is also set to star Liam Hemsworth, Isla Fisher, and Elizabeth Debicki. The project is just one of many on Winslet’s plate, as she recently finished filming the new movie Insurgent, and shot scenes for the drama Triple Nine, all while raising baby Bear and her two older children from previous marriages, Mia, 14, and Joe, 10.
Speaking about her busy filming schedule, Winslet told the Today show earlier this year, “I would feed and shoot and nurse and the milk would go back to the hotel and my equipment would come back, and we’d do the stunt and I’d act… There’s something really empowering about going, ‘Hell, I can do this! I can do this all!’ That’s the wonderful thing about mothers, you can because you must, and you just do.”
