Isla Fisher

This Aussie actress best known for her roles in Wedding Crashers and Confessions of a Shopaholic was born in Muscat, Oman on February 3, 1976.

The family later moved to Perth, Australia where she grew up. Although always a theatre kid, young Isla also had a brief brush with literary fame when she wrote two young adult novels at 18. After appearing in Australian soaps, commercials and college musical productions, she made her American debut in Scooby Doo as Mary-Jane, Shaggy’s love interest. She later got a larger role in Wedding Crashers opposite Vince Vaughn. In 2009, she landed the starring role in the comedy Confessions of a Shopaholic.

She lives with her husband, comedian Sacha Baron Cohen, in London, and they have a daughter, Olive, born in October 2007.
