No sweat. Kristin Cavallari says you’ll never see her on a treadmill. The impressively toned mom of three told Modeliste magazine in their June 2016 issue that she sticks solely to strength training.
“I don’t do any cardio,” the Laguna Beach alum, 29, explained. “For me, it’s just about building muscle and maintaining the little muscle that I have. The more muscle you have, the more fat you burn.”
That said, she does work hard for her bod. “I work out with a trainer three to four times a week,” Cavallari told Modeliste, adding that she also eats “really healthy.”
In her best-selling book, Balancing In Heels, Cavallari revealed that after having kids, she got “too thin.”
“Instead of trying to lose weight, now I had to work hard at keeping muscle on and maintaining a healthy number on the scale,” she wrote on the tome. “I haven’t done cardio since before I had kids because I get too thin.”
On top of working out with her football star husband Jay Cutler’s trainer Mike Sorrentino, Cavallari shares in her book that she also does “Pilates twice a week to strengthen my core, since that’s my problem area.”
The former reality star is the mom of sons Camden, 3 and Jaxon, 2, plus daughter Saylor, 6 months.
