Summer doesn't officially start until late June, but Kristin Cavallari is already primed and prepped for bikini season. Just eight months after giving birth to son Camden Jack Cutler, the 26-year-old new mom is back in shape and ready to hit the beach running.
Cavallari — who welcomed Camden on Aug. 8, 2012 with fiance Jay Cutler — revealed her super-slim post-baby bikini body during a relaxing trip to Mexico on April 7. Wading thigh-deep into the water, she rocked a skimpy pastel-printed two-piece with a halter top and ruffled bottoms.
The Hills alum seems to have dropped the pregnancy weight in record time, but she insists she didn't overdo it. "I've been on the treadmill and [I'm] doing a little jogging, but I'm taking it easy and not killing myself," she told Us Weekly in October of her post-baby fitness plan. "I haven't really been stressing about it, either. I think that helps."
Another thing that helps? The first-time mom's naturally lean diet. "I'm like a freak about eating healthy," she told Us on Feb. 5. "I've always been a really healthy eater. I think when I got pregnant I took it up another notch, just because I was so aware of what I was putting in my body. I've just maintained that since I've had Cam. And honestly, I rarely drink alcohol, which helps too. It's just empty calories."
Speaking about her philosophy on food at an event later that same month, she shared this one golden rule: "I'm no chemicals, all natural. If there's a chemical on the package I can't pronounce, I'm not putting it in my mouth."
That goes for her infant son, too. "Everything is organic and I blend it up in his little Baby Bullet," she told Us, referring to the popular seen-on-TV blender. "He eats very well."
