Shania Twain has no problem showing off her figure at 60 years old.
Twain, who turns 61 in August, opened up about feeling “comfortable” in her own skin, despite criticism of her recent racy looks while hitting the stage. On Saturday, June 20, she opened up to The Independent about her bikini body, sharing, “If you’re not comfortable in your own skin, you will never be yourself.”
She added, “That’s why I wrote ‘Man! I Feel Like a Woman! I was saying, ‘I’m over strapping my chest down’… that stopped after my first video.”
In both her music videos and live performances, Twain rocks a number of sizzling hot looks. While recently opening for Harry Styles on his Together, Together tour in Wembley Stadium in London, Twain stunned in a lace-up Dolce & Gabbana corset featuring a bra top and cutout over her chest. She styled the number with hot shorts finished with a lace detail, sheer tights and knee-high boots.
The singer also wore a sheer dress, which exposed her nude shorts and bra underneath. Twain made her look even hotter with thigh-high stockings and slingback heels.
“I have a 60-year-old body, but I will walk on the beach in my bikini,” Twain added to The Independent. “I don’t really care if [people] are OK with it or not, right? I don’t have any regrets about most things, but if I’d come out of my timid skin earlier, it would have been much healthier.”
Twain gushed over her Dolce & Gabbana look via Instagram on Friday, June 19, writing, “I would like to indulge here for a moment and mention the @dolcegabbana looks you’re seeing me perform in each night at Wembley. … Here I am, living my childhood dream feeling gorgeous and confident stepping out on stage in such beautiful and powerful D&G looks. Little Miss Twain didn’t have anything and now Shania Twain is so very very grateful for all she has. Thank you Dolce & Gabbana, I’ve loved collaborating with you 🥰.”
