Va va vintage! Sofia Vergara was just as much a bombshell back in 1992 at age 20, as the Modern Family star is today. New photos of the Colombian beauty, 41, were unearthed Monday, April 7, of Vergara posing in sexy swimsuits, just four months after giving birth to son Manolo.
The Colombian-born beauty looks gorgeous in a bright floral-printed spaghetti-strap swimsuit while shutting her eyes and casually removing a pair of distressed jeans.
Another snapshot from the beachside shoot, which was taken in Salgara, Colombia, features Vergara in a navy one-piece that reveals her lengthy stems and abundant assets. The future Emmy winner poses elegantly against a stone wall as she gazes at the camera. Sporting bright red lipstick, the star looks flawless in a straw hat as her long, windblown tresses cascade down past to her waist.
As it turns out, good hair has always been a big part of Vergara’s genetic makeup. As Head & Shoulders’ brand ambassador, Vergara asked select family members to join her in a national ad campaign for the haircare line, including her now-22-year-old son Manolo.
Vergara, who was only 19 years old when she had her son, said in a recent interview that being a single teen mom helped propel her towards success. “I had a child to support,” Vergara told Glam Belleza Latina last December of raising Manolo on her own. “Looking back now, I realize that although it was tough, it made me focus on working hard and not letting this business take the best of me.”
Today, Vergara is TV’s highest-paid actress with a net worth of $30 million. “I was always motivated,” the Modern Family star said.
