Seeing blue! Ali Fedotowsky announced she is expecting a boy with her husband, Kevin Manno.
“Oh Boy!!! 💙👶🏻 Kevin, Molly, Owen and I are so excited to share that we are expecting a little boy!!!!” the former Bachelorette, 33, captioned a photo of herself with Manno, 1-year-old daughter Molly and their dog, Owen, in a bed on Wednesday, February 28. “Sharing our entire story as well as a video from the moment we found out on my blog today!!! www.AliLuvs.com 💙💙💙.”
Fedotowsky took to her blog to give fans a glimpse into the moment she learned she is having a baby boy.
“So we got this envelope yesterday,” a visibly emotional Fedotowsky explained, showing fans an envelope with her name on it. “I feel like I’m going to cry, I don’t know why, I just feel like this is a big deal. I can’t talk. I don’t know why … We got it yesterday and we were too like not ready to know.”
“We’d be so happy no matter what it is, if it’s a boy or a girl,” she continued. “If it’s a boy, Molly will have a brother and we’ll get to have a boy. But if it’s a girl, Molly get to have a sister and play barbies with, so either way were super happy. But we only want to have two babies, so this just feels very final.”
The reality TV personality, who married Manno in May 2017, hesitated for a moment, but then opened the results to reveal she is pregnant with a boy.
“It’s a boy!” she told her husband and daughter. “Molly, you’re going to have little a brother!” The family embraced and celebrated the news.
“We would have been so happy either way, but part of me was hoping it was going to be a boy,” Fedotowsky explained to fans.
The blogger announced her pregnancy news in November. Later that month, she spoke exclusively to Us Weekly about how she told Manno she is expecting.
“The day I found out I was shooting photos [for my blog] with my friend who’s a photographer,” Fedotowsky explained. “I basically took a test in the bathroom and went out to start my makeup and realized I forgot about the test, like, 20 minutes later. Went back in and saw the results, and I was like, ‘Oh, my God! Oh, my God! Oh, my God!’”
After a brief celebration in the bathroom, she ordered a book titled You’re Gonna Be a Big Sister from Amazon Prime Now so that it would be delivered to her house within two hours.
“When Kevin got home from work later that day and I was finishing up my shoot with Ashley, I said, ‘Oh, I wanna get one last photo of us packing a suitcase because I wanna do a blog about traveling with an infant,” Fedotowsky told Us. “About halfway through shooting that scene … I went and got the book that said ‘You’re Gonna Be a Big Sister!’ and I gave it to Kevin while my photographer was shooting.”
