Ashton Kutcher gets an “A” for effort.
The dad of daughter Wyatt, 3, and 15-month-old son Dimitri, showed off an adorable flapjack fail on Thursday, March 29. Kutcher was attempting to create cockapoo Skye from Nick Jr. series PAW Patrol, but things didn’t turn out the way he envisioned.
“Was trying for a skye from #pawpatrol pancake,” wrote The Ranch actor. “My daughter, ‘what’s this suppose to be?’ #humbled.”
His post received more than 1,000 comments. “The struggle is real @aplusk. I feel your pain,” wrote one follower. Added another: “@aplusk you’re a good dad. Daughters need special memories with their dads.”
Though Wyatt wasn’t impressed, Kutcher’s breakfast skills are actually pretty decent. But maybe he can get some tips from Jimmy Kimmel who frequently whips up artful pancakes in the likeness of characters, including Oscar the Grouch and Thomas the Train, for his 3-year-old daughter, Jane. His wife, Molly McNearney, revealed earlier this month that the Jimmy Kimmel Live! host is “really annoying” in the morning.
“He’s annoying in a highly productive, quietly creative, intensely aggravating way,” she wrote in a March 1 essay for The Washington Post. “He makes pancakes. And not your average pancakes. He makes art. With pancake batter. Like a lumberjack psychopath.”
The 40-year-old co-head writer of Jimmy Kimmel Live noted that her husband is “an excellent cook,” but joked that the pancakes make her “feel inadequate.”
Meanwhile, it doesn’t look like Kutcher’s wife, Mila Kunis, has anything to worry about!
