Bobby Brown is a dad for the seventh time. The singer announced on Instagram on Thursday, July 21, that his wife, Alicia Etheredge, has given birth to a little girl.
"Just had a baby girl, 10 pounds," the New Edition singer, 47, captioned a picture that showed him smiling.
The little girl is the third child for the couple, who wed in Honolulu in June 2012. They are already the parents of a son, Cassius, 7, and daughter Bodhi, 12 months. The pair announced in February that they were expecting baby no. 3.
Brown also has three children from previous relationships — Landon, La'Princia and Bobby Jr. His daughter with the late Whitney Houston, Bobbi Kristina Brown, died at the age of 22 in July 2015, six months after being discovered facedown and unconscious in a bathtub of her Atlanta, Georgia, townhouse.
Bobbi Kristina's longtime love Nick Gordon was hit with a $10 million wrongful death lawsuit following the aspiring singer's death.
According to court documents obtained by Radar Online last October, the lawsuit filed by Bobbi Kristina’s conservator, Bedelia Hargrove, claims that "Ms. Brown died due to a violent altercation with [Gordon] after which he placed her in a bathtub, unconscious, after he injected her with a toxic mixture."
Autopsy results released in March this year revealed that Krissi, as her family called her, died as a result of drowning and drug intoxication.
"I wish I could have saved her," Brown told Us in June.
He broke down about Krissi during an interview with 20/20 that same month, telling Robin Roberts, "The hardest thing I had to do in my life was tell my daughter to let go," he said. "My baby's gone. I thank God I'm still here."
