Keeping up with an exciting moment! Burt Jenner, Caitlyn Jenner’s eldest son, announced Thursday, July 7, that he and his longtime girlfriend, Valerie Pitalo, welcomed a baby boy, Bodhi Burton Jenner.
Burt broke the news on Instagram, posting an adorable photo of Pitalo holding their son.
“She did it!” the proud papa, 37, captioned the shot. In the pic, the new mom looks off in the distance contentedly while their newborn stares directly into the camera.
Burt, a car racer, announced the pregnancy on Instagram in December, and he made no effort to hide his elation about the soon-to-arrive bundle of joy.
“I promised to wait until we had the ‘all healthy’ update, and we got it yesterday,” Burt, the child of Caitlyn and first wife Chrystie Crownover, captioned the image of the sonogram. “My Lil boy, just chillin… So happy I can’t see straight, he can’t get here fast enough… Who wants to fab me a stroller with @kingshocks and @gladiatortires like you see at the 1000 every year? #HesSponsoredAndHeDontEvenKnowIt.”
Burt — stepbrother to Keeping Up With the Kardashians mainstays Kourtney, Kim, Khloé and Rob, and half-brother to Kylie and Kendall Jenner — has mostly eschewed the limelight, unlike his more famous kin. His half-brothers Brandon and Brody Jenner — who are Caitlyn’s kids with second wife Linda Thompson — appeared on the Fox series Princes of Malibu in 2005 before Brody started his regular role on The Hills in 2007.
The new dad has been a staunch supporter of Caitlyn’s transition. In September 2015, Burt wrote on Instagram, “Yup all you haters, my dad will still probably whip your ass at 65 with implants.”
