Another little angel on the way! Candice Swanepoel took to Instagram on Friday, December 15, to announce she is pregnant and expecting her second child with her fiancé Hermann Nicoli.
“🤰🏼Christmas came early..👼🏼#2,” the Victoria’s Secret angel, 29, captioned a photo, showing off her baby bump outside in a green dress.
Swanepoel and Nicoli, 35, welcomed their son, Anaca, which is a Brazilian word for a specific type of bird, in October 2016. The model posted a selfie with her son less than an hour before announcing her pregnancy.
“😊😄Felicidade da mamãe,” Swanepoel wrote along with the cute shot via Instagram. The caption translates to “Mom’s happiness” in English.
The longtime couple got engaged in August 2015 after nearly 10 years of dating.
Swanepoel, who walked in the Victoria’s Secret Fashion show last month, spoke to Us Weekly exclusively about the experience on November 28.
“I am excited to be back on the runway after missing last year’s show,” she told Us about returning to the catwalk after giving birth.
Fans quickly realized that Swanepoel must have been pregnant during the Victoria’s Secret Fashion show and took to Twitter to react to the news.
“Candice Swanepoel just announced her pregnancy meaning she was at least two months pregnant when she walked the VS Show i.e. one of the most elite runways in the world. AN ICON,” one user wrote.
Another fan joked, “So Candice Swanepoel can walk in Victoria secret fashion show pregnant and still have the best little bod and I can’t even close my jeans after a Chinese.”
