So psyched! Carly Waddell and Evan Bass’ 15-month-old daughter, Bella, couldn’t be more excited to become a big sister.
“Bella is going to freak out,” the Bachelorette alum, 36, told Us Weekly exclusively at Ashley Iaconetti and Jared Haibon’s bridal shower, presented by Crate & Barrel The Wedding Registry and the “Almost Famous” podcast, on Wednesday, June 5. “[She] carries her babies around and hugs them and kisses them and just, like, brushes their hair.”
His wife, 33, added: “Bella loves babies. … She’s more maternal than I am, I think.”
The Bachelor in Paradise alums announced last month that they are expecting their second child together. Bass already has three sons from a previous relationship. “We so SO EXCITED to FINALLY announce Bella’s little brother or sister will be here in November!!!” Waddell wrote on Instagram in May. “(If you wonder why I haven’t been on social media as much…well, this is why!)”
The erectile dysfunction expert has been spoiling the Bachelor alum during her second pregnancy after a tough first trimester. Now that she can eat again, the reality star told Us, “He drives through In N Out for me whenever I want. If I really need some ice cream, he’s going to find me ice cream. He’s a good husband.”
Now that they’re expanding their brood, the ABC personalities shared some words of wisdom for Iaconetti, 31, and Haibon, 30. “When it comes to kids, you have to, like, dive in or wait and enjoy your time,” Bass explained to Us. “There’s two ways to do it. Go for it, get it out of the way, be young parents. Or when you’re older, wait and enjoy and take your time. Everyone’s different. [You’ve] got to figure out which one you want to choose.”
“Almost Famous” did a live episode recording at the bridal shower, hosted by former Bachelor Ben Higgins.
