As Chrissy Teigen prepares for the arrival of her second child, she has one big concern weighing on her mind.
“You think about your first baby, and you’re like, ‘Are they gonna get along? Are they gonna like each other?’” the Cravings cookbook author, who already shares 21-month-old daughter Luna with husband John Legend, told Us Weekly exclusively ahead of Lip Sync Battle Live: A Michael Jackson Celebration at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood on Thursday, January 18.
Still, Teigen, 32, and the “All of Me” singer, 39, are beyond thrilled to further expand their family. “We did the IVF thing [again]. We put it in, we knew what was going on. So, that was easy,” she explained, declining to confirm the baby’s sex. “But we’re really excited!”
And the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model doesn’t have any complaints about being pregnant again. “Trust me, I’m not gonna feel a thing,” she told Us. “If it’s like last time, I loved the whole process. Chicken broth, Real Housewives.”
If Teigen and Legend need any advice, they can turn to her Lip Sync Battle cohost LL Cool J, who shares four children (Najee, 28, Italia, 27, Samaria, 22, and Nina, 17) with his wife, Simone Smith.
“I’ll go to LL for some tips. He’s got an arsenal,” the model told Us. LL, 50, chimed in, “Chrissy’s a great mom. She’s a great mom. She brings baby Luna on the set all the time — and puppies. It’s great.”
Teigen gave fans a glimpse of her growing baby bump before hitting the red carpet on Thursday night. She shared a video on her Snapchat Story of herself, topless and covering her breasts with her hands, slipping into maternity shapewear with the help of stylist Monica Rose.
Teigen announced her second pregnancy in November with a video of Luna feeling her mom’s stomach.
